Bridal Division FAQ

How large is the space and how many guests can it hold?

The Extension Room’s sky-lit main studio offers 4000 square feet of open space, and includes a main bar, satellite bar, separate his and her change rooms complete with showers and toilets as well as state of the art Marley performance flooring or event flooring, specific to the needs of each event.

The main studio comfortably accommodates 200-250 guests for cocktail events, or 100-150 guests for seated dinners or performance / seminar events. For full details on our layout be sure to download our information brochure.

What parking is available for my guests?

The Extension Room offers 4 private parking spaces weekdays before 6pm, and 12 additional spaces on weekends and evenings after 6pm. There is also additional street parking at a nearby Green P lot for your guests. With our location at the foot of the Bayview Extension and the DVP, your guests are ensured fast and easy travel from any corner of the city or out of town. Convenient TTC access is available on the King Street streetcar line, just one block away.

What is the Bridal Ballet Bootcamp program?

The Extension Method™ ballet fitness programs will help you sculpt the lean, elegant physique of a dancer for the perfect wedding dress fit.

What dance lessons are offered?

We can help you with your first dance, father/daughter & mother/son dances.

Would you like to wow your guests, impress your bride, or simply enjoy the wedding dance ritual without the stress of figuring out which foot to put front of the other? Whether you desire a choreographed showcase, or just the skills to go beyond a simple ‘step-touch’ for your first dance, the Extension Room team of professional dancers will put you at ease for your big day.

  • Package of 3: $70 per lesson

What is the base rental cost and what is included?

The basic rental fee includes exclusive use of the main studio with catering kitchenette/green room between 2pm – 2-am, use of in-house sound system and projector, and up to two hours post event clean up.

Sunday – Wednesday: $1,800

Thursday – Saturday: $2,400

What is the cost of specialty reception packages?

Cocktail Reception. Starting from $590 (taxes incl.)
This package includes: 8 cruiser tables, 8 cruiser table linens and 16 bar stools.

Food Station Reception. Staring from $570 (taxes incl.)
Basic package includes: 2 rectangle tables (4ft, 6ft, or 8ft) for food stations, 2 rectangle tables (4ft, 6ft, or 8ft) for seating, linens for all 4 rectangle tables, chairs, 4 cruiser tables, 4 cruiser table linens and 8 bar stools.

Seated Dinner (based on 100 people): Staring from $1070 (taxes incl.)
Basic package includes: 10 60″ round tables, 1 rectangle head table, linens for all tables, 100 napkins and 100 chairs.

Additional Items Available:
Tent for back patio – starting from $600 for a 20’x20′ white tent.
Stand-up patio heater – propane included $200 plus tax.
